8. GENERAL POINTS

(a) There is a requirement for a defendant to produce his driving licence to the court on conviction of an endorsable offence and there is the likelihood of suspension of that licence in the event of failure to produce it when required.

(b) Particulars of the defendant's date of birth and sex must be given to the court on conviction of an endorsable offence.

(c) On a notice of appeal being filed, a court may entertain an application to remove a disqualification pending the hearing of the appeal.

(d) An interim disqualification may be imposed where a person is committed to the Crown Court for sentence; where the court adjourns for sentence or remits to another court for sentence.
